1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using UCITS Mapper ("ucitsmapper.com", "the Service"), operated by 1 Dev Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

UCITS Mapper is a free tool that helps European investors find UCITS-compliant equivalents of US-listed ETFs. The Service provides:

  • Mapping between US ETFs and UCITS alternatives
  • Holdings comparison and sector breakdown analysis
  • ETF search and filtering capabilities

3. Not Financial Advice

UCITS Mapper does not provide financial advice. All information is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Specifically:

  • We do not recommend buying, selling, or holding any securities.
  • ETF mappings are algorithmic suggestions, not guaranteed equivalents. The underlying index, tracking method, tax treatment, and costs may differ between a US ETF and its suggested UCITS alternative.
  • Holdings data may be delayed (up to 90 days for SEC filings) and may not reflect current positions.
  • Past performance does not indicate future results.
  • Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

4. Data Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information but make no warranties regarding:

  • The completeness or accuracy of ETF data, holdings, or mappings.
  • The timeliness of data updates (data is refreshed periodically, not in real-time).
  • The correctness of overlap percentages, sector breakdowns, or other derived metrics.

Data is sourced from public sources including SEC EDGAR filings, Yahoo Finance, and justETF. We are not responsible for errors in upstream data sources.

5. Intellectual Property

The UCITS Mapper brand, design, and code are owned by 1 Dev Studio. ETF names, tickers, and trademarks belong to their respective owners (BlackRock/iShares, Vanguard, State Street/SPDR, Invesco, etc.).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from the Service in an automated fashion beyond reasonable use.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service infrastructure.
  • Misrepresent the Service's data as your own or redistribute it commercially without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1 Dev Studio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses from investment decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Gdańsk, Poland.
